Working from questions of memory, migration, traces, and belonging, I develop site-specific works that engage with existing spaces and urban situations. I am particularly interested in how everyday encounters can develop into long-term forms of exchange.I was born in São Paulo, Brazil, in the last day of winter in 1993 and have biographical ties to Brazil, the United States, Germany, and Vietnam. In my interdisciplinary artistic practice, I combine photography, textiles, installation, performance, and spatial interventions.My practice is process- and material-based, with a focus on the repurposing of existing materials and structures. Found objects, production remnants, and urban elements are transferred into new contexts and relationships. My works often emerge through collaboration with others and through direct exchange with the respective site and its users.
